Three A Light App Privacy Policy

Hello, and Welcome to the Three A Light (THREE A LIGHT) App! Thank you for choosing to read more about the way we use your information. This Privacy Policy will tell you more about what information we collect, and how we use it. This policy is for you informational use only, and does not constitute a contract of any kind between you and THREE A LIGHT. THREE A LIGHT understands that you want control over what you choose to share. THREE A LIGHT will never access your contacts, photos, or post to social networks on your behalf without your explicit permission. THREE A LIGHT will never share personally identifying information that you share with us with others without your consent.

THREE A LIGHT Collects both “Personal” and “Non-Personal” Information About You.

“Personal Information” is information that could be used to identify you, such as your name, date of birth, contact information, IP address, ID or user name. This information is collected to create your unique account, verify your identity and facilitate your transactions through the THREE A LIGHT services. THREE A LIGHT considers this information confidential, and will not share these items on your behalf with any third party without your consent.

“Non-Personal Information” refers to aggregate data that could not be used to identify you, such as demographics like age, sex, anonymous usage data, or general location. THREE A LIGHT uses this information to improve our services, to help tailor our platform to our community, and to streamline the way we provide access to our services.

In order to use the services THREE A LIGHT provides, you will need to create a  profile on the THREE A LIGHT network. To do this, we will ask you some questions about yourself, such as your name, your age and your contact information. THREE A LIGHT can collect information from facebook if you choose to sign in using social media such as Facebook Connect. This information is used to verify your age and identity, and to populate your profile. You can choose what information to share with THREE A LIGHT.  You can edit or remove this information by going to the settings menu and clicking “edit profile.” THREE A LIGHT will not share your contact information without your consent.

Your Activity on THREE A LIGHT

Your activity on THREE A LIGHT is logged in a few different ways. Your message history, content, uploads, photos, reviews and events will be saved as long as your account is active on the THREE A LIGHT platform. Messages, including pictures, between you and others regarding events will be saved for at least 30 days after the completion of the event. THREE A LIGHT is not responsible for maintaining your photos or messages.   

When you log off, your account information is saved with THREE A LIGHT to streamline the user experience with the system.

Payment Information

Financial transactions conducted through THREE A LIGHT are considered confidential, and the details are retained securely. We do not share your financial information with anyone, even third parties offering services through the THREE A LIGHT platform.

How THREE A LIGHT Uses and Shares this information

We collect these data in order to improve your user experience, to streamline and improve the use of the app, to offer you information or access to events or promotions that may be of interest to you, and to connect you to other people who share your interests.

THREE A LIGHT may use your information to contact you, both to inform you of events and promotions, but also through the standard operation of the services. THREE A LIGHT may use your contact information to send you important updates to our terms of service or other policies, or to let you know when something might affect your use of the services. THREE A LIGHT may use your phone number to send you text messages or push notifications about your use of the services. Some notifications may be customized in the settings menu of the app. Please note that disabling notifications may affect your ability to use all the features of the THREE A LIGHT platform.

You can update how you hear from us and what we share with you in the settings menu of the app. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time by following the link to “unsubscribe” at the bottom of our emails.

THREE A LIGHT keeps all the information we collect about you confidential. We will not sell or share your personal information with anyone outside of our partners and affiliates. You choose what to share on your profile, THREE A LIGHT will never share on your behalf without your consent.

THREE A LIGHT uses Non-Personal Information in a variety of ways, such as tracking trends, customizing user experiences, and reviewing user patterns. We may share these data with our partners or affiliates who may help us to analyze them, at our discretion.

Data Retention

You may ask THREE A LIGHT to delete your profile, by emailing admin@threealight.com. When your account is deleted, your profile, including your personal information, will be deleted, including images stored on the THREE A LIGHT network. Non-Personal information that has been integrated into the THREE A LIGHT dataset will not be deleted. Records created and maintained by THREE A LIGHT, such as transaction histories, that contain personal information may be perpetuated, along with  the user’s email address, for auditing and compliance purposes.

Push Notifications

THREE A LIGHT may send you push notifications to inform you of updates or changes to your events, groups, invitations or promotions. These notifications can be disabled in the settings menu of the application.

Cooperation With Law Enforcement

THREE A LIGHT will cooperate with all legitimate government and law enforcement agencies to comply with the law. This means that THREE A LIGHT may disclose any information in the course of a government inquiry without your permission or notification. THREE A LIGHT may disclose your personal information to any appropriately identified law enforcement agency in good faith if our cooperations is requested to:

  • Satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, Or,
  • Enforce our terms and conditions, including investigation of potential violations and misuse, Or,
  • To detect, prevent or obfuscate fraud, abuse, or security threats, Or,
  • To protect THREE A LIGHT and our community from harm to their rights, property or safety.

Security

THREE A LIGHT implements industry standard mechanisms to protect you against fraud, exploitation, unauthorized access, accidental disclosure or loss of information. Our data are stored using Amazon Web Services. The AWS privacy and Security statement can be viewed here.

Access to THREE A LIGHT accounts is highly restricted and regulated to prevent unauthorized access. THREE A LIGHT facilities incorporate appropriate physical and technical safeguards to ensure the integrity of THREE A LIGHT systems. Our practices are reviewed periodically to ensure currency and relevance.
